O How Marvelous!

Wow. I stand amazed in the presence of Jesus and wonder how He could love me, a sinner, condemned, unclean. Oh how marvelous! How wonderful is my Savior's love for me. These words became a revelation to me today and I am overwhelmed of Christ's love for me, a sinner. He promises to give me an abundant life, a life to the fullest. Of course, this does not mean a life without pain or suffering, because this kind of life is a wasted life. In fact, suffering is apart of a Christ saturated life because through our suffering, He receives the glory.

As next year approaches, so many uncertainties come along with it, yet right now I feel right in the middle of God's will. My God cares about every worry I have and He answers every prayer, even if the answer is no. A couple of weeks ago I had a break down, to say the least, about my roommates, or lack there of,  at college. I seriously felt frightened and scared about my future at Bama and began questioning if this is where He wants me to go. During this time, my friends surrounding me with prayers and it made me realize how blessed I am to have these girls in my life. When I rejoice, they rejoice. When I'm in pain, they suffer along with me. What a great picture this is of how Christ responds to our joys and pains! This lead to a night of praying, and with the morning came an answer to my prayer. The Lord brought me two roommates who not only love Him, but live for Him (which go hand and hand...). I am overwhelmed by God's goodness and faithfulness to me. He truly loves His people and DOES lead and guides us, every step of the way when we are seeking His face.

My heart is overflowing with love for my Lord and today I am reminded of His goodness and His love for me. I am so thankful that He has brought Morgan and Madison into my life and I cannot wait for the year ahead of us, learning and living His word. God is good!

"Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feed them. Are you not of more value than they?  But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." - Matthew 6: 26 & 33

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He stores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever." - Psalm 23: 1-3 & 6

"What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him." - 1 Corinthians 2: 9

"How deep the Father's love for us, how vast beyond all measure. That He should give His only Son to make a wretch His treasure. Why should I gain from His reward? I cannot give an answer, but this I know with all my heart His wounds have paid my ransom."

God is good! Praise Him for He is the only one worthy of it! All glory be to Him!

bless
